On the 7th of November, I officially completed my bachelors degree.
Graduation was exciting, yet underwhelming at the same time. It marks the cumulation of four years of - at times crazy -work, and was definitely special, but I spent more time having conversations with friends than concentrating on getting photos all over the university, as I had thought I would. I think I still prefer being behind the camera than in front of it, especially since I had more fun taking photos during the graduations of my friends that occurred during the rest of the week.
Of all the things and people who had positive impacts on my life over the last four and a half years or so in Sydney, the UNSW PhotoClub probably played the largest role. I have so much that I would love to say about the friends I made, and the experiences I had with the PhotoClub, I will be dedicating a whole other post to that.
But I am thankful for all the support that my friends and family have provided me, through numerous stressful periods and more, and hope that I'd be able to prove worthy of that support.
A few days ago, I left Sydney for possibly the last time in the near future. What comes next is a great unknown - Looking for a job, applying for Masters, etc.. It's all an open ended question.
In the mean time, I hope that I would be able to improve my photography skills, and work on updating my website and this blog (Which has unfortunately been lying dormant while I was busy).
Till the next time,
Raylen
