The 2014 Singapore Airshow was held a week ago, and was open to the public during the weekend. I headed over on Saturday in hopes of facing slightly smaller crowds, but I doubt there was a great difference in the end..
There were quite a number of different aircraft on display, both large and small, though most were military.
The best part of the Airshow were the aerial displays. They were the highlights of the entire day, where I also became very sunburnt. Our RSAF's Black Knights were great, but I think the ROKAF's Black Eagles were the best at aerial displays. I also especially liked the Osprey, just because it's a fairly cool plane :)
Overall, I definitely enjoyed my day at the Airshow. The one thing I was disappointed about though, was the complete absence of large commercial jets during the public days, as those were my favourites (Especially the A380. I miss my A380s)... Hopefully, they'll have some of those at the 2016 edition, or I would have to try obtaining tickets for the trade days, as there had been several large jets around during the trade days of this year's Airshow.
Till the next time,
Raylen
