Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, was the final stop on our travels in Eastern Europe. While it wasn't the most interesting city visited on this trip, it was a pleasant place to walk around. The great weather we had for most of the time that we were there for helped too.
We had a quick tour of the city's main sights the morning we arrived, and covered locations such as Zagreb Cathedral, Dolac Market, St Mark's Church, and Tkalčićeva Street.
We revisited many of these locations in the free time that we had for the remainder of the day as well as the next morning, while we were waiting to head to the airport.
Some other sights that we looked at in that time included the Zagreb Botanical Gardens, King Tomislav Square, and the changing of the guard of the Cravat Regiment (Which we just happened upon, having no idea of what it was at that point in time).
Overall, Zagreb was a fitting conclusion to our trip; casual and relaxing. It would be lovely to have more times like that.
