After coming down from Eisriesenwelt, our next stop was to the castle of Hohenwerfen, which was also located in Werfen. While the castle itself was interesting, the highlight of this visit were the flight demonstrations put on by the castle's historic Falconry Center:

My 70-200mm lens definitely came into good use for the demonstration.
There were also great views of the surrounding mountains and the town of Werfen from various parts of the castle, which we had a short tour of.

So whether you come for the birds, the view, or the history, Hohenwerfen is a great castle to visit.
