Coney Island, with its beach and collection of small amusement parks, feels a world away from the rest of the New York City. I spent one afternoon there on my last trip to NYC to take photos and ride the Cyclone.

DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Brooklyn Heights
Walking from DUMBO to Brooklyn Heights and out to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade is a pleasant experience, as is a stroll along the waterfront through Brooklyn Bridge Park. These were some of my favourite places to hang out and relax during my trip to NYC.
